We are seeking applicants for the following positions

Edentrillick Quarries Ltd and McQuillan Skip Hire Ltd now have the following vacancies based in our Dundrod Depot:

  • HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C1E or C) Drivers
  • Weekend & Evening Relief Drivers Class 1(CE) or Class 2 (C1E or C)
  • Also Relief Drivers for Holiday cover

Experience in operation of Rigid or Articulated Tipping Lorries an advantage for Edentrillick Quarries.

Whilst for McQuillan Skip Hire, RO-RO and or Skip experience is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.

Essential Criteria:

  • Up to date CPC Qualifications
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card

POSITION: Analytical Chemist

LOCATION: McQuillan Envirocare Ltd - Antrim

RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Analytical Chemist

To perform varied analysis to UKAS 17025 standard as required in support of the Senior Analytical Chemists during the day to day operation of the laboratory, to ensure that schedules are met and that the quality of work meets specified standards.

The Qualifications and Experience required are:

  • Educated to degree level in Chemistry or Equivalent OR 5 years appropriate experience in a similar environment
  • Experience in an analytical laboratory
  • Working knowledge of UKAS 17025 quality system desirable
  • Working knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills: clear, effective and authoritative in spoken communication, high standard of written English, able to state a case clearly, logically and concisely.
  • A strong awareness of the needs of customers, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to work in a team situation.
  • Computer literate
